Stan Cottner and Josh Scaturro started a very successful commercial cleaning company in the Florida Keys over 10 years ago.  In there process of cleaning they realized there had to be a better way than the use of phosphates and petroleum based cleaning chemicals that are so harmful to themselves and the very fragile Eco-system in the Florida keys. 

I could not believe the hazardous chemicals we where breathing everyday of our lives Stan Cottner notes. Most household cleaners are labeled as hazardous waste and should be disposed of as such.  We knew there had to be a better way, that was the first step in making Stan and Josh, now referred to as the "Green boys" realize they needed to start a homegrown movement in the Florida Keys not only for green cleaning products but also as members of the community that need to help people realize that everyone needs to change their ways, not tomorrow but TODAY. 

The greenkeystore.com is the first step in hoping to teach people there is a different and better way of life in taking care of themselves and the beautiful life of Key West and the Florida Keys.

The greenkeystore.com will be devoted to green cleaning tips, cleaning products, Eco-friendly products a weekly challenge that will encourage people all over the country to do just one small step every week together to try to help reverse the carbon footprint we have all left behind as well as news information.
